SoftEggland includes a group of worlds where players have a choice of ways to use their Minecraft skills:
OUR WORLDS
Softeggland is the name of one of our survival worlds and is the oldest map we offer. Builds from up to two years ago still exist here, but there is plenty of room for players to add to it.
Eros is our "newer" survival world with all the updated blocks. This is a very large world with lots of space to roam, build and play. It also contains our spawn and a "Default" area where new players learn the rules and demonstrate their abilities before being promoted to Citizen. After that, they are free to visit and build on all the worlds.
Sandbox is a flat creative world where you can try out builds without the restrictiveness of trees, hills, caves, etc. This world is reset now and then, to make space for more building. In addition, we have SandboxPlots, with pre-defined spaces for being able to build with a limited amount of WorldEdit.
Esteh is a brand new world of chaos and will be opening by August 1st, 2015. Here, you will be able to blow up buildings with tnt, engage in pvp fights, use lava and fire, and create general mayhem. You will also be able to explore and build, but don't be surprised if a creeper decides to "redecorate" your new home. Each week, the map will be reset and the chaos will begin again!
In addition, we have mini-worlds where we conduct building contests, and we are working on adding mini-games into the mix.
SoftEggland also offers a Vanilla server for those Minecraft purists who like to play the nostalgic way.
OUR RULES
*Create a forums account at minecraft.softegg.com/forums2. This not only lets you read and post on the forums, but it also allows for ban appeals, should you ever need it.
*No asking for staff positions. There is an application process on our forums for this. Higher staff members make recommendations and decisions about possible staff promotions based on behavior.
*Be respectful toward staff and your fellow players.
*No harassment /trolling.
*No bigotry/hate speech, or builds that suggest the same (race, age, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, and religion.)
*No disruptive arguments/discussions or drama in global chat.(Take these to private message, or better yet, use other forms of social media.)
*No public accusations of rule-breaking. If someone is breaking the rules, send a /msg to a staff member or report it on forums.
*No hacking or using cheats or glitches to gain advantage in game play or to cause problems on the server.
*No griefing or stealing, unless it is on Esteh, our chaos server.
*No creating lag. This includes but is not limited to: excessive spamming of entities, huge amounts of activated redstone in a single chunk, excessive mob breeding/grinding, huge amounts of lava or fire, using books or signs to hack and create lag.
*No spam or advertising – period. Share your other servers with your friends on other social media. Not on our server.
*No posting personal information. All information is and should be kept private for everyone's protection.
*No letting friends or relatives use your account. You are responsible for everything they do, using your name!
*No impersonating other players, particularly staff or using alts to bypass a ban.
*Bans may be appealed ONLY on the forums. No public discussion of bans in-game.
These rules are in place for the protection of the server and its players, and to maintain a fun environment for the players.
