Established in March of 2012, Starry Survival is a server founded on the idea a server should be owned by its players, not some greasy wannabe dictator.

Minecraft is a sandbox game. It is not a role-playing game. It is not a first-person shooter. It is not a simulation. It is supposed to be a relaxing, creative game.

This server is all about playing Minecraft like it was intended, everyone has the power to build and play however they want!

Every player has the right to:
No protections. Player-made protections restrict others from being creative and collaborating. If there is any griefing, the griefers are banned. Simple!
No spawning in junk. The only items that are spawned are wood and stone at the start. No derpy diamond pyramids here! If anyone asks, "Is that legit?" we can proudly reply, "Yes!"
No PvP. Nothing turns people off like being killed by some jerk in the middle of building your next masterpiece.
No mob griefing. Creepers and endermen no longer ruin your creations! Monsters still spawn to provide you with all the slime and string you need!
No lost items. Everyone can lock an unlimited number of chests to keep their stuff safe! If you die, you keep your whole inventory!
No griefing. If anyone causes grief to another player, they will be banned, and their damage is rolled back. No questions asked!
No admin abuse. Every admin on the server comes from the community! The admins don't get any extra perks; they are just players that can kick other players. Nobody will be abused. If an admin turns rouge, I demote them.
No economy. Economies make no sense; this is a game where you can pour oceans out of a bucket. No economy to slow the game down.
No classes. Why be good at only one thing when you should be good at everything! No annoying minimum "mining skill" or "eye sparkle" levels needed to craft a pickaxe!
No baloney. Unless you can actually craft baloney in the game someday, you will not have to deal with any. Just have fun, and play some Minecraft.

Play however you like. No need to worry about anything. Just focus on having fun and sharing your creations with everyone!
