Tanis is an Enhanced Survival server for Minecraft. We have local hosting, the only reliable kind. Because Tanis is hosted locally we can manage and update the server at any time without relying on other companies. Tanis is a survival server, however it is also much more than that. By combining realism plugins and configuring them to our needs we have created the ultimate Apocalypse Simulation for Minecraft. We have accomplished this without the use of client side plugins! Can you survive the apocalypse?

Yes, the server is almost always up. However, occasionally we have maintenance periods. If the server is down check back later or the next day. I apologize for the inconvenience.

I can't climb more than one block. I just teleport back down to the block I was standing on. I am not lagging though.
