Why Route66MineTekkit


The route66MineTekkit server is all about Community. We have a running 150Slot teamspeak 3 Server and already a small but friendly player base. We are looking to expand the borders of our


little country and try to make out server go global. Our little community is ready to take on new blood. And we need you to help us make the setting perfect. Beta is over but we still are make our server better every day. We are making our server a Grief protected as possible so all you buildings will be secure!


History


We started running Minecraft servers about a year ago. Back then it was a vanilla server on a old AMD dual core, Dual CPU setup. Since 4 weeks ago we upgraded our little AMD server to a full out high end 24Core Intel system. And now we are looking to let the community grow with the server. Now Route66 is becoming a bigger place in the world. Route66hardware is our main sponsor and our hardware vendor. Also Route66Community will be our new place to hang out soon. Route66gaming is already a longer existing Multi gaming clan. But now Route66MineTekkit will be added to the History and to the Family of Route66.


Server goal!


We are looking to build a stable community server with a nice Iconomy for everyone to jump in to and to be able to compete. We will be thinking of the community first since that is the server's main goal. Also we want this to become on of the rare seriously no lag server, thats why slots wont go to big.

Be nice and speak English in chat.


No Quarry's or similar in the world. Only in PlanetX


Dont PVP On or around spawn


Server Specs


Two Intel E5645 Running at 2.4ghz, 24Cores


32Gig of DDR3 1400Mhz Ram


4 Corsair SSD's running in raid 10 for speed and backup safety.


Future upgrade's


Adding 8Gig's of Ram


Making the CPU's run on 2.8Ghz in stead of 2.4Ghz


Adding a second separate HDD storage unit with Terra byte of storage

Open Test server


There will be a new second server soon. This server wil be online only for testing now plugins and mods. So they can be made perfectly working before implementing them into the official server! Supporters and long time members wil have /Gamemode in this server !


This server wil not be online 24/7 But only a couple of days before installing a new plugin so we have to tim to install. Implement. And then test it. This is all to reduce downtime and problems on the main server !

I am having to put a lot of time in plugins and the other websites we run. So i need a hand onwww.route66minetekkit.be since s17billsp is on university again.

Maarten200 is working a lot on the other sites of the Route66 family as wel!

We look for a capeble HTML scripter who can help out with medium dificulty coding and tweeking. Most of the complext implementation is already done!

Also a new designer is always welcome to help us give the site a better looking theme!

Also this requires you to be able to come on teamspeak and talk in decent english!
