25th May 2023: The Simple Arena Event begins... For a short time only, a new world will be created, but with a twist; You'll be limited to a 25,000 x 25,000 sized map. Not only that, for the first time ever: It'll be hard mode. The stakes have been raised. You can only hide so far, expect this to be a fast-paced experience.
This event will last until we are ready to migrate to the long-awaited 1.20 update, after which, everything will return to the Simple you know and love. A fresh, unlimited world that you can expect to last for ages to come.
Simple SMP is a server for those who want a smooth and seamless vanilla survival experience.
You have the freedom to survive exactly how you want to. No ridiculous rules or power-tripping admins; as long as you're cool, we're cool.
Our server uses minimal plugins for performance and simplicity.
No world border - you can explore as much as you want to. (Excluding the Arena Event)
No land claiming or grief prevention - the whole world can be yours for the taking.
Going on for over eight years, Simple SMP remains one of the oldest existing Minecraft servers.
