Hostile mobs spawn at daylight and lots of them. makes me think there's more stuff changed in this server? I thought this is vanilla?

The gamemode is set to hard, so mobs will spawn in a bigger quantity and deal more damage.

they don't spawn at daylight even on hard mode like this. Ive hosted hard mode servers and played too much on hard mode already to know this. Maybe there's some plugins that cause this to happen?
