Hello everyone! This Summer, the Minescape staff have been working really hard on improving our server and community. One of the biggest changes coming to the server is Build World! After months of pondering the idea of adding a creative world to our "Survival/PvP Server", we have finally decided to add it to Minescape. If you are familiar with Water World, it is very similar in the way that it gives people plots to build on. Check it out at /warp BuildWorld.
If you are reading this, then you already know about the website's theme change. The background and foreground have been changed to a Creeper-like texture. Let us know what you think about it in the comments! More things that have changed about the website are the Voting Bonuses! If you vote for Minescape on all three links, you will be rewarded with a bonus of two diamonds! If you vote for five days in a row, you will receive a bonus amount of 30 Experience levels. The top voters will be displayed at /spawn, as well as many other categories of being a top member in our community that will be displayed.
Now, donating to Minescape is much easier! Every time you donate for a rank, you don't need to wait for an admin to come online to promote you, add you to the region permission list and give you your diamonds! It does it automatically, as soon as you log on. Just as a reminder, make sure that when you donate, you have enough room in your inventory to receive your diamonds.
Item Store! Similar to the Minescape Store that you might have seen, where you could buy MS memorabilia, except with the Item Store, you are buying IN-GAME items for Minescape! From Admin heads to diamond armour, you will be able to purchase with real money. The purchase will take about 5 minutes to apply and be given to your in game character. Again, once this feature does release, make sure that you are not in Build World or the mob arena when you purchase these items because they WILL BE DELETED/STUCK.

A couple of my friends have moved on from being regulars to this server but I didn't, and I am so glad I didn't because when I go into Minescape I feel like I know everyone and everyone knows me. Like we are a big family who just want to play and create together. It is fantastic.
The admins are very fair here. My group recently got banned from a server because the admins were unjust and blamed us for everything. They had no evidence except the words of others. Minescape won't ban you without hard evidence. Words and stories aren't enough to drop the ban hammer, and when a conflict does arise the admins still listen to both sides of the story to see if there is truth to the offence at all. They don't abuse their powers and silence people and go "If you griefed all of spawn say nothing!" (which happened on a server a couple months ago. The admins are respectable, fair, and mature.
Moving onto the owner himself, Dead is acts how a owner should (in my opinion) he is always on regularly and keeps a keen eye on all the admins to see that they act a fair and kind as he expects them too. Dead talks with the players, he gets to know the players and listens to their suggestions. Dead doesn't put himself higher than others (nor do the admins) he treats them as equals.
So to sum it all up I love Minescape, I feel so patriotic about the server and it's players. The need to protect the two is great in my mind. Whenever I see conflict I try to resolve it (to the best of my ability) so there are not rivals on the server. Just...I get so fired up when I join the server, I don't even like building much anymore I like talk to the people and help them out with redstone contraptions or whatever they need. It is just.........love it.
