The server is hosted on a professionally built machine - running Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard, with 16GB RAM, 4GB RAMDisk, and a decent connection speed.

You may use any texture pack, providing it is not a transparent texture pack, or one which may give you any advantages. I would recommend Dokucraft - Light (You will need the patcher or Optifine installed to use this texture pack)

For some reason - possibly our firewall - PlanetMinecraft suggests the server is always offline. It is in fact online. Please check the server website to see if it is online or not.
