VanillaCraft

I enjoyed the vanilla gameplay of Minecraft, but could never find a server that didn't have a shitton of plugins, or didn't care about removing cheaters, or were hosted by some 12 year old on his home PC via Hamachi. The last server I was on was close (didn't chase down cheaters) but in the end the owner was too noob to run it properly (wanted to wipe the map because people were complaining that an admin MIGHT be giving items to friends, and then didn't do the wipe for a week, killing the server).

So, I researched around, found the best rated minecraft host, and got 6gb 120 slot server. I have plugins, but absolutely none that alter gameplay. It is, essentially, a vanilla server, with the added security from hackers taking it down, and added admin features for catching and removing cheaters. Unfortunately, the cheating community is powerful enough that you cannot run a decent vanilla (default) server without it dying a LOT.

That being said, if you're interested in PVP, griefing, stealing, plundering, looting, raiding, etc, and you're tired of the hackers, cheaters, xrayers, and you want a server admin who isn't a 12 year old clueless kid, then this is probably the place for you. I must warn you, you may get spawncamped when you join (it's part of the fun). It's still easy to get away though... The server is on hard, so everything will hurt you, including hunger.

@Hackers/Cheaters/XRay - I have, thusfar, caught every single one abusing any form of cheating. Honestly, I don't care if you join. But the second you abuse any form of cheating, I'll know. And I have no problems whatsoever banning 20+ people at once if they're all hacking. Hackers and cheaters have absolutely no chance on my server.
