Venture Industries is mainly a creative server (art work can be rewarded) with some survival/RPG characteristics. The server uses craftbukkit and plugins to add features to the surviving experience . Some features include coins as currency, warps(Citizens can't warp and must pay for a warp, making warping a luxury for the rich.), fire spread disabled(Good for making fireplaces.), sponges work with water and lava(Sponges can be obtained through shop commands.), string can be used as measuring tape, lottery tickets drawn everyday, and a lot more.
Venture Industries isn't a very populated server, so don't get upset if you're all alone when you log in for the first time. Most people tend to log in during mid to late day, central time. But if more people begin to log in more often then it won't be such a lonely place.
One more important note, Visitors(guests) won't be allowed to place/break blocks. This is a anti-griefing step to protect the server yet still allow guest to view the server and determine if they like it or not. To become a Citizen you must send in a request via email, PM, or if I am in the server just ask me. But remember I am only one man running the server and I am not at home all the time to register new users. So if you send a request it might take up to a day for it to be processed. If you like Venture Industries and want to join, please bear with me and wait a day till you can build. You can always talk to other players and they might even help you getting weapons to protect yourself.
