Now looking out for potential recruits to be part of our US staff! If you are in the US timezone, join the server, prove you will be a good fit, and you may land a job as one of the staff!Visionary MC is a brand new, creative build server, for everyone; no matter how old you are or how experienced you are! With a target of fun, free, artistic building in mind, we set out to offer you a server where you - the player - hold the keys to building anything in your wildest dreams!
Server Backstory (Don't worry, its not long!):
I have wanted to set up a server since starting playing Minecraft way back in the Beta 1.6 Version of the game, and have always been a builder at heart. Never being able to find a server that fully fitted in with my building needs, I decided to start a build server for anyone like me, who just wants to build to impress. Since it is now the summer for me, I grabbed a couple of my best friends for some help; and Visionary MC was born!
Worlds:
Plot: Here is where you start! In the plotworld you begin as new and can work your way to Advanced Builder, and gain access to the flat worlds! The Plotworld is here to separate the griefers from the builders, and for potential Masters to show their talent, before being allowed free rein of the server! It is also there for those small builds, that look nice and are just for a bit of fun!
Flat (World): Now the building really starts! In the flatworld, you can build as big (or small!) as you want, without interruption! The rest of the ranks can be gained here, and you can build as a team or on your own, or maybe just fly around a little and have a peek at what others are doing! Have Fun!
(Note, more worlds will be added over time, for the top ranks, but at the moment, we are sticking to two!)

- Designer
- Architect
- Grand Designer (GD)
- Master Architect (Master)
- VIP (Donate £15 at the website!)
- Trial Moderator
- Moderator
- Admin

More ranks will become available over time!
Rules (We know its boring, but please take notice!):
1. No Griefing! This will result in an instant IP Ban with no appeal if caught. All grief will be pinpointed, and rolled back to its original state, so don't even bother trying! (This includes unsightly 1x1 Towers).
2. Respect all players on the server, and especially staff members. Being rude or disrespectful will not be tolerated, and we log it all!
3. No getting rank upped for any pixel art, statues (certainly ones of creepers or players!), or any redstone. The only exception to this is if your redstone impresses our resident redstone expert, and trust me, it isn't easy!
4. Swearing on the sever is allowed, but not to excess. All caps sentences and spamming in any way will have bad consequences. If it annoys anyone, don't do it!
5. Do not bug staff to come and review your build, just let them know your done and they will get round to you. Remember, we are running a server, trying to help everyone, and we will have our own projects to do! So please be patient.
6. DO NOT ask for ranks, or staff positions, as this will either hurt your chances of promotion, or result in punishment (mute, ban, ect.). Ranks will only be gained by building well, and staff ranks will only be gained by hard work, loyalty, and dedication to the server.
7. Anyone deemed to be advertising will be IP banned, and will have no appeal. This includes any links sent in the chat that haven't been pre-approved by an admin.
8. Listen to staff at all times, and follow exactly what they say, 'their word is law'. Disobeying staff will have serious consequences.
9. Always be responsible for yourself, eg do not build obscenely, do not build too close to someone as their build may expand, and do not lie about anything.
Remember, we see everything!
Server Info!:
The Server will always be updated to the latest software for Minecraft, so don't worry about it being outdated! The server has a 99% Uptime (its hosted, so its virtually always up!), and has 2.5GB of RAM already devoted to it, which will be increased if the server goes well! The server can easily do over half a million block world edit (trust me, we've done it to test!), and there is no lag at all, so it should be perfectly fine at our end! Please note that the server is hosted in the East Coast of the USA, but is staffed by our team in the UK, meaning currently we have no US staff to help us out, so sorry America! But if there are some players from the USA that seem to be responsible and stand out as possible staff members, we will give them a trial, so be vigilant!
Also note that ALL builds will be judged only in the Minecraft default Texture pack, so if it looks bad to us, you wont go up!
