hello everyone!

this is my entry to the final round of suburbia's tourney on the skindex :)
we were tasked with making an oc and writing a short backstory about them being stranded on a deserted island :>>
I tried a new lightsourcing shading, it's a bit easier and quicker than my other one so I'll probably use it more often.

anyways, on to the info for my character!

she's the daughter of the captain :>

backstory:
one day, when her father's ship was sailing through a particularly terrible storm, marina was knocked unconscious when she hit her head against her cabin's wall. she awoke some time later, washed up on the shore of an island, to find the rest of the crew gone. she managed to salvage a kerosene lamp from the wreckage of the ship, then set out to explore the island. after a while, she met some natives who agreed to give her a length of leather fabric, which she tied around her arm.
