🌼 Send Help 🌼 | Contest Entry

 The storm raged on and on, as if it would never come to an end. A few neighbors had gained enough courage to venture into the frozen wonderland. That was a week ago. We haven't heard from them sense. 

 As for me, I'm fine in the comfort of my home. The thought of going outside is.. well.. not even a thought. 

 "Mandy! Come down, the news is on!", my mother yelled.
 
 "Coming!", I replied. 

 I rushed downstairs and sat myself on our couch. The news flickered on, and a famililar man came on.

 "Good Morning America! It's Steve Johnson, and I'm here to tell you more about the harsh winter. We have heard from every state in America, a surprising number of people are living. The winter has only taken a few lives. If you must go outside, I recemend the heaviest jacket you can find. Now to-."

 The news channel was interupted. 

 "Oh gosh, did the signle go out?", My mother asked, frantic.

 Suddenly, something new flickered on. It was a very low quality, surely the government wasn't responisble for this interuption. 

 Seven people stood in a dark room, A basement. Each wore black suits and gas masks. Only one of them wore white boots.

 "Hello, America.", the white booted person spoke, lifting her mask to where you could see her face. Her face showed no emotions.

 "We'd like to interupt your program with a message.", One of the other members lifted his mask aswell. 

 "We request assistance, our food supply is low and a lot of our members are dieing. We need help." This time, the other member didn't remove his mask.

The girl with white boots spoke again, "Please send help."

The TV turned off, and we where left with a dark screen
