Roy, currently known as Arsenal, was the ward of Green Arrow (Oliver Queen) and served as his protege, Speedy. He joined the original Teen Titans alongside Robin (Dick Grayson), Kid Flash (Wally West), Aqualad (Garth of Atlantis) and Wonder Girl (Donna Troy), a founder member of the team. Arsenal has mastered the archery and was able to hack into Queen Industries main R&D hub. He was also able to jailbreak thirty new apps on a cell phone and give it voice recognition, besides been trained in martial arts by his mentor.

Roy, atualmente conhecido como Arsenal, era o protegido de Arqueiro Verde (Oliver Queen) e serviu como seu ajudante, Ricardito. Ele se juntou aos Jovens Titãs originais, ao lado de Robin (Dick Grayson), Kid Flash (Wally West), Aqualad (Garth de Atlântida) e Moça Maravilha (Donna Troy), sendo um membro fundador da equipe. Arsenal dominou a arte do arco e flecha e foi capaz de invadir o centro principal de P&D das Indústrias Queen. Ele também foi capaz de desbloquear trinta novos aplicativos em um telefone celular e fornecer reconhecimento de voz, além de ter sido treinado em artes marciais pelo seu mentor.
