Shading Style
" So basically, It's difficult to implement other colors into the skin. By this I mean, using things like Hue, and Saturation and all that. That doesn't mean I won't find a way though. I will experiment and try and find a great way, the reason for it being so difficult is because of the base skin color. It just prevents it from looking like a Pokemon in the end result.
Skin Series

" So basically, when I uploaded the skin series I got a lot of appeal towards it. I had a variety of people asking me to help. So, i decided I would set up a way for a win win situation. I hope i can still keep my fanbase and support, I haven't given up, ive just had to rethink the blog.
the shading is great, don't get me wrong.
but if you asked me what that looked like (and i play pokemon myself)
i couldn't have told you on the first guess.
i know it's hard to format a pokemon's dimensions into a rigidly-defined shape,
but could you try to incorporate a little more familiar detail?
good luck getting to 649, (are you doing alternate forms and colorations?)
game freak will probably have released the next gen by the time you're done :)
