I must admit, I am heavily torn on this project. On one hand, I am a huge fan of the idea, the variety of colours I could try and the execution of the skin. On the other hand, it presents a huge departure from anything I'd usually do, which is a scary thing. My usual work, that I post, has me playing with a lot of colours, whereas my practice stuff is usually stuff like this, where I don't work as many colours. People aren't aware that this is what I prefer doing, if I have little sparetime, and that puzzling with the larger skins, with a lot of colours, is only something I seek to do when I have an idea that makes me want to pursuit that route.
And maybe that's why I am torn, how do people react to different content? I think it's usually positive, if that content seems to have a higher level of effort or flair put into them, and perhaps this has neither. The skin I posted before this one is exactly the kinds of skins I want to produce, and the contrast to what this represents is stark. The last one had a message, it expressed an emotion. This one is as far away from that as I can get. It's a statue, set in stone, emotionless and dark. And perhaps this is also something I should appreciate, as I've spent 2020 desiring that my every skin showcases a different side of my skinmaking. This one will obviously fit right into that gimmick.
Hopefully you'll appreciate this for what it is, and not what it isn't. This isn't a usual DragonsDungeon skin, filled with a magnitude of colours, that all go towards expression of what I want the skin to feel like, and it isn't intended to be.
I want to give you a guide of all of the versions I did of this, to show you that this truly was a ride (if you want any of these versions, I will provide):
