The sunlight shimmers through the ocean's waters, creating light shapes on the sandy floor. Deeper still, the water is darker. No longer a bright, refreshing blue, it is now a deep, refined purplish color. The sunlight's wavering rays cast upon a shipwreck covered in barnacles and bustling with sea life. A bright shine catches your eye. Your hands expertly move aside the debris, much too slow to satisfy your growing curiosity.
A silver crown, covered in a thin, green layer. You brush the algae off to reveal its intricate design. It is resting on the greenish-blue head of a rusted statue. Barnacles adorn her skillfully sculpted hair, algae clings to her metal dress, and seaweed slips between her outstretched fingers.
Part of her is in crumbles, but she still shines in the gentle waves.
She tells the tale of a culture, a culture long ago lost.
This is my entry for LucisFerrer's 𝕊𝕚𝕟𝕜- Palette Contest, Celebrating 100 Subs.
I had a lot of fun with this, though it was kind of difficult.
I'm really proud of this C:

My skins used to/ still sometimes suck.
