Joe Average is just your everyday heroic guy, by day he works at the local park, by night he is Above Average!
The rumbling explosions grow louder. Above Average is hurtling through a dark corridor, walls emblazoned with pictures titled 'employee of the month', in his arms a small child.
It was take your child to work day when a fire broke out, almost everyone had escaped. Above Average had seen the smoke, and immediately rushed to the site of all the chaos, upon arrival he discovered that the daughter of the company's CEO had been trapped inside.
PING! the elevator doors opened, Above Average stepped out, the sound of a child's cries rang out through the corridor. Above Average was there in a flash.
The explosions were almost upon them, it was time. Above Average flung himself forward, smashing through the glass window (a window 20 stories above ground floor)
Falling. Falling. Falling.
Average, and the girl, sped towards the ground at breakneck speed... and bounced. Upwards, for about 6 feet, they rose.
Average landed with a soft roll (carefully protecting the girl)
"It's a good job bouncing is one of my many powers!" exclaims Above Average.
There sitting below the very same window stood a discarded trampoline.
