This is my entry for the August Skin Contest. He came 46th over all.
Alabads origins:
Alabad is one of the only indigenous species of animal from the Arctic that still roams free, without the fear of predators. It has fur covering the lower arms and legs to provide warmth during blizzards. No one quite knows what it evolved from, nor do they know much about it. Alabad keeps himself to himself, living alone with no relations to care for. Alabad will stalk its prey for miles without the prey knowing. Just remember he is stalking, always stalking. Will you be its next victim?
The story of Alabad:
In the late 1700's there was only a few of his kind left. Unfortunately they liked to stay away from others animals, unless they intended to eating it. Alabad was worn in in the early months of 1792, Thrown into the wilderness soon after his birth; he had to learn to fend and feed for himself. Only rarely would he see some prey so he could not afford to let it go when he had the chance to eat. At 3 years old he was in his last stages of growth, at just two metres long he was not a big animal, but was was vicious, not a lot could out run him, or survive a blow from a big, strong fur covered paw. I would rather like to know how many people read this, so if you have read this far, please comment with what you like and dislike. Now, back to the story. Alabads life consists of the same day in, day out routine. Wake up, hunt, sleep. Nothing else. He is a nomadic being, tracking his prey, but rarely seeing it and then picking it off when he does see it. Alabad and his kind are able to live for hundreds of years, even now, he has a long time left to live. That's if he doesn't get picked off by the humans, the humans that are trying and so far unsuccessfully tracking and capturing his kind.

Please give me your thoughts and opinions on what you like or how I could improve the skin. If you like my entry, please give me a diamond and I will be eternally grateful.
