Amaethonus was once like Steve. A regular man, but now, he lives amongst the Gods. He was so skilled in crafting, mining, and building. He could have had anything he wanted. But he gave away; to the poor and the needy. To the Noobs. He was kind and wise. The very embodiment of charity and goodness. The Gods saw this. They chose him as the first man to be a God. He wears golden laurels and cloud shoes. Gifts from the Gods to him.
He rules over the men of the Earth. While some Gods rule the sea, air, or even the dead, Amaethonus rules the living. He protects, enlightens, strengthens, and when necessary, punishes man. Ever had a Creeper wander into your home? Well, that was either the God of creepiness, OR Amaethonus because you needed some humbling. Or punishment.
As kind as he is, he does not tolerate disappointment from his followers, or hate from his enemies. Worshiping him is not to be taken lightly, it's the way of showing him your devotion. He is quick to punish those who he chooses. Amaethonus is not a God that the faint of heart follow. Only the most noble and loyal crafters choose to worship
