let me set the scene... neon lights, dark streets and technology everywhere... the year was 2278, and trees were nearly completely gone due to the huge companies who had found a "top secret way to make oxygen" so apparently, people didn't need plants or trees anymore, which meant that these said companies could cut down all the forests and trees to use for furniture! most people thought it was a wonderful idea... apart from the few who didn't.

ampere (yes, that's her name - who knows what people in the future will use for names) was one of the few. she didn't believe that the companies had found a way to "make oxygen" and thought it was all a scam just to sell wooden furnishings! she was shocked, outraged in fact, that people would believe the companies had found a way to "make oxygen" as it was 'complete and utter bull' (her exact words). thankfully, she found people that thought the same as her.

and so, the few people who didn't believe in the companies decided to grow plants amongst their robot bodies (robot bodies are a different story that i won't go into), sit outside forests or chain themselves to trees to protest and to save at least a few of the plants.

after a year or two of wearing plants, their protests had not been effective because the tree population had still become so low (86% of all trees had been cut down!) so, the few had decided to fight.

people were trained to fight, trained how to use weapons, trained how to hack, trained how to survive. then, once they were all ready, they began their attack by taking over all the companies' headquarters and exposing them to the public!

ampere worked behind the front line hacking into the companies' security systems. the green screen that floated in front of her eye meant that she could see code and programme using her thoughts. it was quick and useful for the few and ampere had soon become one of the most well-known hackers.

her body was robotic but she allowed for plants to grow out from the cracks and to keep her succulents healthy, her arms were filled with water for them (which she could refill whenever).

the fight had begun...

well, i sure do hope they succeeded but we'll just have to wait until 2278 to find out ;;))
