I select my colours as i go, and i use dodge to blend between my colours

That's a really cool shading technique, I've been wanting to try something different with my shading for awhile. I just do standard hue shifting to make palettes and then use the transparency pencil to add extra shades when necessary. I've never been able to successfully use the dodge/burn tool.

the dodge tool gives u saturated colors but if you use it with nice colors they never notice
