Some story from her life(Associated with Legend Of Korra)
Avery is a waterbender she lived in the tribe, her real name was Jiang. But, she ran away. Bolin and Mako took her in. Few years later, they met Korra and she was instantly jealous. Korra was strong and kind, while she was weak and cold. She ran away again, and changed her look to look like a boy for people to think that she wasn't the weak girl she was. She started practicing her bending in a forest, joined the tournaments in the top most team and soon recongized as one of the best benders in the world. As her team was against 'The Fire Ferrets' Bolin and Mako instantly recongnized her. But Avery was filled with fury and jealousy that she didn't realized that her team was losing. Because of the jealousy inside, her team lost. She fell into the water screaming with anger. As soon as she saw her teammates she released her anger on them. She went outside crying, and she was dissapointed. 'The Fire Ferrets' were talking as they went outside and they saw her. Bolin started comforting her. Korra just thought 'he' was a stranger. Avery still blinded by jealousy she dissapeared in a flash. She got a cottage in the forest and started again training. Once she was good enough she started appearing in the town, but hidden. Rumors said that 'he' had died. But people had seen a flash of a blue scarf. No one had seen 'him' again. But while 'The Fire Ferrets' were hiking they found a cottage that no one had seen. No one was there. They decided to explore the cottage, but the door opened. Footsteps were heard. Avery went into a room as she heard talking.
"Bolin, Mako?" She questioned, "And Korra?" She said coldly.
"Avery?!"

"Bolin, Mako?" She questioned, "And Korra?" She said coldly.
"Avery?!"
