Just because you use minershoes doesn't make you a bad skinner!! I used to use that too (:
But now I use nova skin & paint.net you should really try out novaskin! :D It has a few gradient tools that are great for shading and it also has an undo button! :3 It helped my skins get much better and even if i'm not pro x3 its much less of a pain to make a skin :)Ã

I can't get the hang of novaskin, it has the player design sitting there in 3D mode, its easier for me to do it with the layout of the skin, but thanks for the tip ;3
