I am the main artist contributer for Paril's program MCSkin3D
This is a sample skin from the program I uploaded for use : D Enjoy

The character itself wasn't really inspired by anything in particular other then your typical scruffy looking hero in the typical RPG game.

Hey whtdragon. Was looking online and I found a skin that's using your Battle Worn skin as a base and not giving you any credit. I've asked him a few times to give you credit but he just delete's my comments and continues to act as though the skin is entirely his. Not sure if you care or not just wanted to give you a heads up in case you want to do something about it.

Spoke to some Moderators on chat after sending this post to you and they said if it wasn't 90% originally his then I should flag it, and since it was about 70 - 80% yours I just went ahead and flagged it and let the Moderators deal with it and obviously they agreed. Feel kinda bad for the guy but rules are rules. :S

well personally I wouldn't feel bad for him opo I mean he deleted your posts. He was CLEARLY trying to keep anyone from finding out he didn't entirely do it. He knew what he was doing and he didn't want anyone to know about it.

On an artistic standpoint I find it sad when people barely edit the sample skins and then post them up as their own, and I do try to encourage more original work, but from a skin making standpoint, I can understand wanting recolors and edits or for those that aren't as good with skins to use parts and aspects of the samples (I mean that's what they where for after all lol) so I am usually okay with recolors myself so long as they are done well.

It really urks me though when people take the sample skins, do bad edits and then post them up to get them out as fast as possible just to get points for them. Not only did they not try to make anything worthwhile, but they're just using the quality of my work for their own. That's just bad all around.

I always try to display some level of quality in my art, Minecraft skins or not lol (though debatably I personally feel like I never do "good enough" but well, you are your own worst enemy. lol)

but I appreciate the praises I've been getting reguardless >w<~ Thanks

As the creator of MCSkin3D, I have to agree - she's a natural for this, and hopefully having these templates included with the program will encourage people to attempt to create something with quality like these!

I'll have to check it out. I used to make tons of skins, but the author of MCSkinEdit really messed up and broke half the tools in versions 6 and 7, then pretty much deserted the project.

Really? Well that changes my whole outlook on this guy.

I wouldn't tolerate this at all - I plan to support this project until it completely dies.
