I couldn't think of anything to make for the 'twisted reality' contest but this time the contest was sci-fi so it was much easier for me to think of something.
The room was quiet. Not a sound echoing in the darkness that surrounds you until the soft,metallicsound of footsteps pierces softly into the void.
You know what it is that hunts you. Something precise and deadly sent by the ones that oppress. A hunter with no mercy and no mistakes. A cyborg from the outer reaches of the galaxy.
You hold your breath, you can hear your heart beating out of your chest. The footsteps have gotten quieter. Is it gone? Are you safe? No. It can't be that easy.
The silence takes over once again, is your fateinevitable or can there be an escape. Your mind races at the speed of your heart, there is only one way to exit the room but the menace is still present.
You slowly stand up and move towards the door but you never would stand a chance. The door breaks down and thesilhouette of the hunter stands there in the door. Your life flashes before your eyes as you see the orange glow like fire. It's over.
