An apprentice skin i made for the medieval contest
Back in the middle ages an apprentice was a small child usually around the age of 7-10 who was signed away by their parents to the towns blacksmith, artisan, tailor, etc. They would be given lessons on the specific trait by their master who they lived with until they become a master them selves witch could take up to 14 years. An apprentice was not paid by his master, he was expected to work for the master and obey the rules. At the age of 14 an apprentice would become a journeyman. A journeyman was paid very little by his master and still expected to learn and obey the rules.
