When we depleted earths resources in 2187 we had only one place to go, to the stars. But because of a century's old treaty no one government could claim a system or planet as there own. Company however did not have to abide by this rule. This new form of government created a new breed of explorer. The age of the gunslinger had returned.

In 2204 augments or augmentations were outlawed throughout many of the newly colonized systems, although many outlaws and lawmen alike use performance enhancing devices. The ones on this mans face and neck are a helmet setup. The ones briefly shown on the arms are for improved strength and speed.
