Youngest son of William Afton and younger brother of Michael Afton. He doesn't know that their father kills children in his pizzeria, and he doesn't know that their father created Funtime animatronics specifically to lure children into killing them. While their father is minding his own business, the younger Afton endures bullying from his older brother. Chris endures all 5 days as his brother scares him and brings him to tears and desire for suicide. But at one point, on Chris Afton's birthday, his older brother gave him a big surprise. He, along with his friends, picked up Chris and put his head in the mouth/jaw of the animatronic Fredbear. But due to Chris's tears, the mechanism of the animatronic's jaw Fredbear could not hold itself and closed, as a result, an incident occurred when the animatronic bit the lobe of the child's brain. Chris was in a coma for 5 days and saw nightmares where instead of his brother and his brother's friends, a terrible nightmare of animatronics walk around his house. These are twisted versions of the classic animatronics. These monsters have metal claws, sharp teeth and holes all over their bodies. As a result, 5 days passed and Chris Afton died. But his soul was preserved inside the animatronic Fredbear.
