Stephan Lang as Commander Nathaniel Taylor in Terra Nova, a sci-fi series on Fox, and is a pioneer and the leader of Terra Nova, a new human colony built 85 million years in the past to try and save humanity from disease and pollution plaguing the future. The first person to arrive, Taylor survived the first four months (118 days) on his own, then began building a community as new settlers came through; he has been the leader for seven years. Taylor has a son named Lucas, who has abandoned Terra Nova and is working with the renegade Sixers. Taylor knows nothing of his son's survival, and believes he went missing, and has not been seen since in years.
Stephan Lang is one of my favorite actors of all time, and seeing as Minecraft is a strange world in which you have to survive mostly on your own, I figured if any person would be capable, it would be Commander Taylor.
He is wearing a kind of H-harness like the kind our military uses and what passes for a rucksack (hard to tell those aren't the straps of the pack but that's what I was going for).
