Hey all! Today is my birthday and I've been wanting to do a contest, so what better time than now? There will be contest details at the bottom. Please let me know if you have any questions! If you read the details about the skin, it may help you paint a better picture of what I am looking for in the contest.
Now onto stuff for the contest... If I forget anything I will add it later.
About the Skin
First, let's talk about this skin! I based this skin off of my zodiac sign, Pisces. In my opinion, I am basically the definition of Pisces.
Anyway, I basically personified the zodiac sign into a person. I added a lot of little details that might not be noticeable at first glance. The shading is gentle because Pisces-born are known to be gentle, there are some flowers on the skin that represent the "verge of spring", the hair clips are in the shape of a fish fin, I tried to shade it in a way that would make it feel dreamy/whimsical (shading white with pinkish purple and lots of hue-shifting) because Pisceans are known for being imaginative and such, the ends of the pigtails curve sort of like a dolphin tail, the things connecting the shoes to the skirt could be interpreted as the stem of the flower or what it was originally meant to be, seaweed, tan skin to show outdoorsy-ness and connection with nature, skin is asymmetrical since Pisces is a mutable sign, etc.

Zodiac Sign Contest
Theme: The theme is zodiac signs. I want you to personify one of the twelve zodiac signs (Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, & Scorpio). It can be any zodiac sign, so it doesn’t have to be yours. Take inspiration from the zodiac sign’s personality, traits, associated colors and other associations, someone you know with that zodiac sign, the symbol that represents it, its glyph, its element, etc. If you are confused, this skin is a good reference for what I am looking for.
Scoring/Judging: I will mainly be judging you based on creativity, technique, and originality. Bonus points can be earned from accuracy, a description explaining the character or your skin, details, etc. Accuracy refers to how much it relates to the zodiac sign and if the zodiac sign that you chose is clear. You can be as creative and original as you want, so if you want to make a fire sign with cool colors, go for it. It just still needs to have a vibe of the zodiac sign from it. Details refer to the number of little things added to the skin to relate it to the zodiac sign and the insightfulness of it all. This will all be my opinion and will not at all be based on the number of followers, diamonds/likes, or favorites you have. Hopefully, this makes sense. Rules:
Please follow these rules. All rules on the website you are posting your skin apply to this contest as usual, even if they are not mentioned. If you break a rule, I will let you know before the contest ends, so you can know and hopefully fix your entry. If your entry does not follow all rules by the time the contest ends, your entry will not be entered into the contest and you will not receive any prizes. If you have any questions or issues about your skin or any of these rules, please let me know.
1. Post your entry to PMC, Skindex, or both websites. Make sure to use the tag EmZodiacContest so I can easily find your entry. You may leave a link below as well, but that is not required. Follow the rules of the website you post it on.
2. Follow the theme. It is preferred that you use a skin made for this contest. If your skin does not follow the theme closely enough, you will have less of a chance of winning a top prize. Do not let this rule limit your creativity, however!
3. Submit a skin made by you. Please do not edit another person's skin and claim it as your own. Using resources to help you is allowed, such as color palettes, reference pictures, etc. Hair bases and skin bases are allowed (as long as you credit the original owner), however, outfit bases are not. Using a base might affect your placement in the contest depending on how much your skin relied on the parts made by other people.
4. Play fair and nice. Follow the rules and encourage contestants instead of bringing them down! Do not get upset if you did not win. Do not copy other participant's ideas!
5. Submit your entry by April 6, 2019. This date may change depending on how many people join and how fast they join.
6. Up to three entries allowed per person (doubt anyone will do it but the option is here! :) ). Doing more skins will not enhance your score and you will not earn multiple prizes. Basically, each skin will be judged individually instead of as a whole or set.
