Looks good for a beginner, though you might wanna use the hat layer for 3D ears, and maybe practice shading c: or, you could try 3D's blocky shading style =)

Hey don't give up so easily for the shading, took me 3 months to get the shading I have now :P

Hey maybe check out the video of my old ways on shading hair? You could use the 2nd hair shading technique for a skin like this :)
