Anyways, on to some suggestions! First off, I highly advise against using solid colors. This makes skins look generally not so great. Anything you might find as a base color in MSPaint, stay away from. Second, try not to use solid black. It makes the skin incredibly hard to see, especially at night in the game. Third, I suggest looking up some shading tutorials, and applying them with your future skins! It'll help make them look a lot cleaner, and nicer as well! Hope this helps!
