the elder endfolk were of the species Lord Decay belonged to, powerful, mighty, and it was common for them to have one eye of a different color, but one of their eyes were always magenta, they Created Endermen as lookouts, they created Shulkers, or Ender Golems as they called them, for the purpose of guards, they built grand cities within the outer reaches of the end, and created the Ender Dragon as a last line of defense, there are rumors among men and Falmer that the Ender Dragon was originally created a all-conquering War Beast, but it contained a fatal flaw, the dragon needed the end Crystals for a form of life-support, without them, the dragon is weak, vulnerable,and eventually dies... so it was left to guard the ancient obsidian tombs and if needed, the End Folk themselves, it did not play its secondary role, however and thus... all but Decay had perished...
