In the future of Minecraftia, mining will both be a more prestigious and a more dangerous occupation; poor tracking of waste disposal areas - especially radioactive waste disposal areas - will result in a highly elevated risk of encountering a pocket of toxic material whilst digging. Thus, miners must be fully equipped with heavy armour (its three layers comprising of, from skin to outside shell: leather, lead, and steel) with reflective markings for safety as well as radiation-resistant eye-wear. Furthermore, all but the most n00b miners are fully equipped with superior laser-sharpened diamond tools that shear through most material with ease (because even in the future, obsidian tools are something only the richest can afford to dream of.)
