call me crazy but i see stuff on the body, arms and legs skin layers, yet when i changed my skin, these cool bits and bobs didn't show up on my player avatar. how do i fix this?

Crazy but

The skin only works for 1.8+, if you use versions below that the new layers won't show up, try updating your client and see if it works.

Pretty dissapointed this didn't get at least 2nd or 3rd. It's an amazing skin and the top 2 look like REALLY bad. Really still trying to figure out myself why the 2 who got 1st and 2nd, got those scores. They look like skins that took about 5-10 minutes to create.

I appreciate your feelings towards my skin but mine did deviate a bit from the theme, in my opinion it ended up looking more like some sort of adventurer than a pirate. Even though I don't agree with the top skins (and I'm not saying mine was better) I assure you they weren't made in 5-10 minutes, I'm sure each and everyone of them put some work into making them.

True, but compared to a lot of other people who made entries to the contest, those skins weren't a very "fair" choice, just my opinion though I assume ^_^
