𝓟𝓮𝓵𝓮 (Pele 'peh-leh' or 'pel-lə"), the Fire Goddess, is a well-known diety in Hawaiian mythology.
- ✿In modern culture, "Te Kā", the main antagonist from the 2016 film Moana, was loosely based off of Pele.
- ♫The musical composition (link to recording:) "Goddess of Fire" by Steven Reneke (one of my favorite symphonic band pieces/songs ever!!!) was inspired by the legend of Pele.
I listened to this on repeat while creating this skin, and highly recommend it to y'all band nerds:)

The Fire Goddess, also goddess of volcanoes, lightning, wind, and creator of the Hawaiian Islands, is said to reside in a volcanic
crater called (link:) Halemaʻumaʻu crater. A well known myth, known by natives and tourists, is that those who take volcanic rocks from
the Hawaiian Islands to other lands (often tourists) will be cursed with bad luck unless returned to its rightful place. There have been reports of people who have visited and taken from the Hawaiian Islands that have mailed their treasures back to the islands, insisting that they had been cursed with bad luck.
