i saw what you wrote on the forum and here's my opinion on your skin. it's great but need shading around the arms and legs. (like brighter on the outer arms and legs, also darker on the in side where the arms/legs and body meet up.(as in the place where the legs connect, the middle) the helmet is fine but i recommend dark shading in the bottom, (semi dark but lighter) sides, and back. a programs i recommend is gimp 2.6, MCskin3D, and regular SkinEdit. it's still a great skin but needs shading that's all.
