  The first thing that came to my mind when I saw this contest was a kind of cyclops sea creature. This was inspired by the deep sea diver in The Spongebob Squarepants Movie. He is a villain in the movie, and they call him "the one eyed cyclops". I decided to use this idea, but make it part of the actual creature. I was also inspired to make the eye based off of a guardian in Minecraft.
  I was inspired to make the armor because I like seeing/making high tech and robot skins, so I decided that this creature should be technologically more advanced than humans. So, I decided to add some armor, using a color palette based off of prismarine, found in ocean monuments in Minecraft. I also added lines with a neon-ish color to make it seem more high tech. I made the armor in layers, from top to bottom, each layer having a lighter shade than the previous. While making the armor, I also unintentionally added an eye on the torso, however decided to keep it like that to represent his power as a one eyed monster.
After making the armor, I also added some gauntlets and boots as an extra thing to go with it.
I was originally going to add a tentacle-like beard to my creation, but later scrapped the idea because it would mess up the armor.
