My entry, as the title says, is my interpretation of Harold Godwinson.
I decided to base my entry off of How Harold was depicted on the Bayeux Tapestry:
Well, this is the information I gathered while researching for my skin. I got most of this information from my social studies textbook so I can't really link in to this ^-^"
Harold Godwinson was a loyal vassal to William the conqueror. Until one day, that is. Harold, claiming that king Edward had come out of his coma and commended his widow and kingdom to his protection, before dying.
So, Harold was crowned the king by the anglo-saxons. This enraged William, so he decided to go to war with Harold. He traveled to England, and prepared his army with a feast so they would be ready for battle. Harold's army wasn't as prepared, considering they were caught off-guard for the most part. When the battle of Hastings began, one would think William the conqueror's army had the advantage, since his soldiers were fighting on horses. But, Harold's army held strong. So, William and his men deciced to trick Harold's soldiers into thinking they were giving up by riding away. Harold's army, thinking they won, ran after them. William's army turned back and fought of Harold's forces, killing Harold in the process. So, in the end, William was crowned king.
