You should do what I do, I usually remake people's skins, make skins for contests, do skin trades, fanskins and skin battles. If you look at my newest skins they're mostly all of that combined. I also recommend looking on Deviantart there are drawing's that are cool there and skinable, Tumblr, Instagram and all the other things for outfit ideas there are plenty of accounts on there that post OOTD's and cute outfits. Pratice your hue shifting, colours and shading style. Trying new hair shading styles. Hopefully this helps, also if all things fail take a break for a week or 2 or even more time (I took a 9 month break from skinning). Until you're satisfied with you're break and willing to jump right back in the skinning world.

If you have no inspiration, just take a little break from skinning. If you force yourself to be creative, you won't end up being statisfied about yourself, your skins won't be top quality and the community won't be happy neither. You'll see that it'll get better if you don't force yourself to make things. Have you already tried to make different kinds of skins? instead of girls and here and there a boy, you can try to make something non human for example. There are thousands of possibilities, just don't limit yourself to one or two types of skins. Challenge yourself. :)
