Hugo was a small boy when he was blinded. At the age of four he was working with his father, a blacksmith. He was looking at one of his fathers blades and one of his eyes was blind. At the age of 23 he became a blacksmith. His father died at war when he was 27 and Hugo went off to be an executioner. When he was 34 he lost his toe when cutting a head off. He cut off many more limbs/body parts before he died. At the age of 48 he lost his whole leg. A nurse gave him a peg leg but that did not help very long. Soon after he turned 50 he died by a traitor killing him. All that remains of Hugo is his mask, his peg, and his axe.
