Saturation is the intensity of the colour; take blue, per se. 
Say I had the colour white, and if I added more saturation then it would become more blue.

Value is the amount of black or white in a colour. Add more white, that would be called a tint. On the other hand, more black would be a shade. 

Hue is basically just the shade of colour.
