Ichthyosapien

millions of years ago, we had a common ancestor. due to certain unknown climate/ecological changes, some ape-men took to the shores of the ocean to find food. they found that the fish were an abundant food souce and after living in/near the edges of the sea for 1000 generations, they finally took to the seas after their bodies seemed to slowly adapt to their habitat. their hair and fur was replaced with smooth rubbery skin. their hands and feet, now webbed for better swimming. they remained mammals and retained their warm-blooded need to breath air much like other cetaceans, but now have all the adaptations needed, that whales and dolphins developed when their ancestors returned to the sea, including echo-location. now, after a millennium of hiding below the waves, they have re-surfaced, unafraid, to defend their deep oceanic home from their land bound cousins' intrusions. i present, the Ichthyosapien!

note: i dont try to make my skins look REALISTIC. although i do want to include a look OF realism, i still want the skins to look "blocky" like they BELONG in the game. something that Mojang would actually include in the game. i really hope they add some water mobs to the game next. fish, sharks, and possibly some "mermen" like this!
