In Lycoris Recoil, girls called Lycoris work to preserve Japan's #1 spot in the world for being the safest country. Direct Attack is a secret organization that uses Lycoris to prevent crime from happening all over Japan. Takina, a Lycoris, was punished by Direct Attack for disobeying orders by opening fire on the enemy in order to save a girl. She was sent to work at Café LycoReco with Chisato, and they became best friends. Takina finds nothing wrong with killing people if there is a good enough reason to, while Chisato uses non-lethal bullets all the time in her work. Takina has top-tier aim, while Chisato has top-tier dodging skills.
