I like how you tried to give the face a 3 dimensional look. but you went overboard with your shading on it all over it, overall though i really like it :)

The face looks rather horrendous to say the least (nothing against yourself) also the skin has a lot of unnecessary lines, i'd recommend trying to cut down on the amount of horizontal lines you use.
