Hey guys here is my submission for the Apocalypse Skin Contest.

This is the first skin I have put real effort into (only my second all together) so I hope you like it, and I tried my best, also it is at 90% because I may do some more shading or add things if people say I need to in the comments :P

My character is a zombie Dwarf, who used to be a king, and it has a little story with it:

A long time ago in the mountains of Kalahaz there lived a Dwarven race who loved to mine and were constantly discovering more and more ores... The king of this race was called High-King Karamaz and he controlled the whole of Kalahaz.

In the north there was a Human city named Minalat which inhabited some of the Humans fiercest warriors and knights. Frequently the Dwarves would fall under attack from the Humans.

However, the kingdom of Molartia, owned by the humans, which was to the west of the Dwarves fell under attack by the Alamari which were demons so terrifying it is said that people with weaker souls would just disintegrate at the sight of them.

The Alamari plagued the whole of Molartia, and the king of the humans; Ulfric Hammerstorm, fled to Minalat seeking assistance in killing off the demons. The Humans put up a fight but in the end they were all killed off except for a small group including Ulfric, who fled to Guldaria.

The Dwarves, however, were not affected by the Alamari for they kept themselves hidden in the underground tunnels of Kalahaz. As the Alamari swept across the land above them, the Dwarves mined away looking for materials that could somehow defeat the demons.

After months of searching, a miner came across a strange, glowing, red material; he mined it and took it to the High-King Karamaz. Karamaz did not have a clue what it was, and being a expert in mining everyone was surprised that he had never seen it before. Karamaz took the material and took it back to his chambers to examine it...

Karamaz had not been out of his chambers for days; worried, the guards entered the room and found him, covered in blood and with green patches over him, rocking back and fourth in the corner of the room. As they approached they heard grunting which got gradually louder. They got near to him and touched him, and as quick as a flash of light he turned his head and bit them, the guards fell to the floor in pain, and then rose as if they were in a trance.

Karamaz left the room and one by one he picked of every Dwarf in the kingdom, infecting them with the unknown disease...
