Today is the day Mockingjay Pt 1 comes out, so i figured I'd do this in honor of The Hunger Games, I am a fan of the books, and I love Katniss so, I hope you enjoy, she wears this outfit in Mockingjay, I just saw the movie today. :) I think they followed the book very well."My name is Katniss Everdeen. "KATNISS!"
I heard Rue's strangled voice from somewhere on my far right; instinct took over. I ran.
"KATNISS!" I heared again.
"RUE!" I screamed. Silence. I frantically whistled the tune that we discussed before heading out.
Nothing.
The leaves behind be crackled; I drew my arrow and pulled back the drawstring as I turned.
"RUE. WHERE WERE YOU?!" I asked angrily.
She pulls a chip from out of her bag of Doritos-wait, what?!
"WHERE did you find those?!"
She shrugged. "It dropped for the careers and I ran for it."
My jaw dropped. "Did they chase you?"
She nodded. When I opened my mouth to yell some more, she added, "No no no, don't worry, I lost them. It'll be fi-"
We both stared at the protectile protruding from her chest.
"Awh Flickernuggets," she said as she collapsed.
"GAH! STUPID MARVEL!" I pulled out my hot sauce gun and shot Marvel in the eyes with it; he ran off in search of water.
I pulled the candy cane out of Rue's chest.
"Oh, Rue...." I whispered, tears gathering in my eyes.
"Sing to me," she mamaged.
I nodded.
"Froooosty the snowmaaan...." I sang cheerfully. Cannons started to boom until I was the last one left, with the exception of Rue.
"Katniss stop....its killing me even more...." Rue complained.
"....AND A BUTTON NOSE....." I continued, even louder.
The last cannon boomed.
I won the Hunger Games!
No. I didn't win.
