Langnek from De Efteling

This skin is made for the World Heritage Skin Contest
Langnek is a character from the fairy tale The six servants of the Brothers Grimm. The skin I made is based on an attraction in the fairytale-forest in the theme park De Efteling in the Netherlands where it is a very iconic figure. The design of Langnek was inspired by the illustrations of Anton Pieck, who is best known for his romantic drawings with lively scenes from an idealized nostalgic past and for his fairytale forest in De Efteling.
