Had a go at shading a little lighter and using a pallet :)

It is really too light. I personaly think that the clothes should be darker and the inside part of the legs is just gray . You could use a pallet, but later edit it to add some extra details.

i based it upon the cartoony DS versions of link, not the serious looking versions.

The only version of "Legend of Zelda" is "Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks", so I totally know what you mean.
